Description: This particular item is the first of its kind I have seen, in many years in the antiques trade. I have never seen a corset bag before. For storing one's stays in discreetly in the lingerie drawer, no doubt. Made from a heavy, durable cotton fabric with pale pink & tan flowers. Crochet top creates a loop from which the bag is hung. Snap closures (these snaps look new - I think they are replacements). Embroidered word "Corset" in medium brown.Tags, Labels, or Maker's Marks: None. This was probably home-made Approximate age: circa 1910 - 1920 Dimensions: Bag without hanging crochet is 19.25" long x 6.75" wide at foot / 3" wide at top. Crochet hanger adds 3.75" to height. Ring at top has 0.75" diameter. Condition: Excellent giftable condition. No mentionable condition issues. Clean, washed, and ironed. No stains, spots, tears, rips, smells, or discolorations.
