Description: Antique cabinet card photo of two chubby cheeked sisters photographed in Deer Lodge, Montana. Deer Lodge is about 40 minutes away from Butte Montana. It is the second oldest city in Montana and was a mining town starting in the 1860s with gold having been found nearby. RARE. There are very few photos and cabinet cards listed as being from Deer Lodge. Photography studio is listed as Hansen & Carr of Deer Lodge, Montana. New clipping included in photos of them encouraging people to "give them a trial" comes from an April 1893 paper -- The New Northwest. Did not find many photos from them online. See photos for dimensions. Approximately 4.25" x 6.5". Age of photo is approximately 1893. Cabinet card will be in protective sleeve and mailed in a rigid mailer. Will be sent first class letter with tracking. Thanks for looking! Please let me know if you have any questions.
