The platter is signed on verso with a Japanese chop mark for Arita Aoki Kyodai-Shokai. The platter is oval with a butterfly border around the outside edge, the interior is hand painted with peony flowers, lush foliage and small orange daisy flowers and gold cherry blossoms. It is further enhanced with heavy applied gold highlights throughout. It is in really nice condition with no chips, cracks or utensil marks. It is ready for your home or shop.
