Description: This exquisite opaline glass bottle from the early 19th century features stunning gold gilding and intricate cutting that showcases the skilled craftsmanship of Bohemian and French artisans. The bottle is cut on all sides giving it a unique geometric form. Much of the gilding is worn away which is typical for utilitarian bottles this early. We would date this example to around 1820-30. It is in excellent condition with only one tiny flea bite to the edge of the stopper and loss to the gilding. It measures roughly 6 1/4” tall by 2” wide. Handmade with care, this bottle can be used to store perfumes or simply be displayed as a gorgeous piece of art. It's a unique addition to any collection and is sure to catch the eye of anyone who appreciates beauty and history. We will be listing more early opaline glass soon.
