Took over his father's business of plane making. This a really nice wide Grecian Ogee with Fillet. Plane iron measures 2-1/2 inches wide. The plane body measures 3-1/4 inches wide. As shown in The Wooden Plane by John Whelan, page 257. Marked '4/4' on the heel. Clear maker's mark on the toe. Has a 'pull' hole in the stock.
