Description: C. Ahrenfeldt Limoges Platter 18 1/2" Hand Painted Floral w/Gold Cowell HubbardThis is a large platter made by Charles Ahrenfeldt in Limoges France. It was made for, and sold at, Cowell & Hubbard Co. A jewelry store in Cinncinnati OH. It is in the design #1479 which features a stunning hand painted, multi-colored floral design around the border with a floral spray in the center. There are gold chains above and below the floral design like sideways bells. There is gold trim at the rim. It measures 18 1/2" across and 13 3/4" wide. It is an exceptionally nice pattern! Please view my other listings as I may have more in this pattern available in other listings.Item is in Excellent Condition with no chips, nicks or cracks. The hand painting is very nice. There is a some wear to the gold at the rim and on the bells under the border that is noticeable, but still the platter is very nice! Please view the photos for a better description.
