Description: This is a rare copy of a supplemental booklet to the Famous Artists Cartoon Course of Westport CT. This booklet is dated c 1948 - its title is: The Famous Artists Course in Commercial Art and Illustration, a new and unique home study plan to prepare you for a money making career, by The Institute of Commercial Art. When closed, this measures roughly 7 1/2" W X 10 1/2" H. Tucked within its pages is an even rarer supplemental page - a page of corrections/additions to the Lesson Books! In the lead photo, this is shown behind the booklet. There are 29 numbered pages. The next to last page of the book has a detailed list (with a corresponding photo) listing all of the supplies that are included with the course. The covers have wear, staining, creases. The inside pages have no writing; they have browned slightly but are in good expected condition. Each does have a crease at its bottom right hand corner that extends into the covers.
