Description: This is a classic (deco?) Pierrot brooch by Butler & Wilson, rendered in black & white enamel on silver colored metal. (In the 1970's, B&W "recreated" the Pierrot and the moon motif in pale pink plastic, but this appears to be the original.) This is a versatile brooch, at home with jeans or dressed up. It is in remarkably great condition, with tiniest loss of enamel at the top edge of the moon (which is not noticable except on very close inspection).
