He married Grace Van Vorst, born 15 August 1902 in Burnt Hills, Ballston, Saratoga Co., New York, daughter of Frank Lee VanVorst (1877 - 1955) and Jennie B. DuBois (1876 - 1947). Grace died 15 September 1988 and Henry followed 19 April 1995. They rest in Evergreen Cemetery, Portland, Cumberland Co., Maine. Their children include: Dorothea Butler Marsden (1928 - ), Frank Arthur Butler (1929 - 2021), Robert Lewis Butler (1936 - )Portrait measures 4.25 x 6 inches and is in very good to excellent condition for its age, but as to be expected shows normal aging associated with a photo over 120 years old.
