Description: Bulbophyllum treschii is an adorable dwarf species, bearing textured, ribbon-like pink flowers on wiry stems. Or possibly the flowers look like squid. You decide. The new foliage comes in with a purple blush which is very attractive. It is very similar to plumatum, but typically has much longer flowers, up to 10 inches in length on small plants. Available plants are mounted, as I find they're easier to grow this way, and this also tends to allow the flowers the space to develop and display better. They'll be suitable in this format for terrarium or greenhouse cabinet culture. If you just grow in the house, though, I do recommend you water daily when possible. Keep them warm and in about low-medium light. You will get one of the plants shown or one similar in size. They are seedlings, 1-2 years from blooming size. NOTE: Example flower photo shows plumatum, as I don't have a great treschii photo at the moment. Color and look is similar, but treschii flowers are often a little more textured, and usually notably longer. --Shipping-- All plants are wrapped carefully and shipped via USPS priority mail.
