Description: For sale is a vinyl record by Bachman-Turner Overdrive titled "Best Of B.T.O. (So Far)", originally released in 1976 by Mercury Records with an embossed cover. In the dead wax between the labels and the last tracks is etched "Az" and a picture of a flower, followed by "T1" and the matrix numbers A-2/B-3, indicating that this record was mastered by Brian Gardner at Allen Zentz Mastering of Hollywood, California, before early stampers were used to make this album at Columbia Records' pressing plant, located in Terre Haute, Indiana. These are hallmarks of state-of-the-art engineering, sought after by collectors and music lovers for their superior sound qualities. I bought this record used, professionally cleaned it on my VPI HW-17 machine and put it into an archival inner sleeve. This protects the integrity of the vinyl and any original inner sleeve(s) or insert(s) that may have come with the release. The inner sleeve is graded as Excellent because of a small tears and wrinkles along its opening. The cover is graded as Excellent because of very faint ring wear, shelf rubs and minor corner blunts. The spine has a little color loss from these rubs. The vinyl is visually graded as Very Good Plus because of a few superficial sleeve marks and hairline surface scratches, but with surfaces that are still shiny and bright without any scuffs, smudges or spindle marks on the labels. I'm play grading it as Very Good Plus because of occasional ticking and low level surface noise, most noticeable between tracks and during the quietest sections of playback, but never over-powering the music. There was a pop on Side One. It played all the way through without any lock-ups or skips from start to finish. This has been played on Audiophile equipment since I owned it and still has a lot of life left to it. This would make a great addition to anyone's collection. I have more Rock and Roll records, as well as albums of all different genres, listed in my Ebay store. Please take a look. They're predominately in Near Mint condition. Thank you for viewing my listing. I've been collecting records for about 50 years now and have always cleaned them and put them away carefully in plastic inner sleeves. Over the years I've used Dust Bugs, Disc Washers and have finally invested in a professional VPI record cleaning machine. Now that I'm retiring, I'm selling my very esoteric collection. I'm not a professional grader of records, but will use record guides, as well as my personal experiences as a basis of my grading all records. Since grading is subjective, I will be conservative. I offer discounts for multiple sales. Photos are of the actual item for sale, not a stock photo. Please review all descriptions and photos because I do not accept returns. Thank you for looking!
