Description: The overarm that holds records on the spindle of the very common BSR UA14 record changer before they drop has a white rubber cone shaped buffer to stop the overarm dropping too far down Unfortunately white coloured rubber from the early 60s hasn't survived the test of time as well as darker colours and most of these buffers will be yellowed and cracked and/or missing If the buffer is missing it means the overarm can drop too far down and interfere with the tonearm during the change cycle. Owners try various techniques to replace this missing buffer such as a grommet or multiple 'o' rings but it's not easy as they won't just slide on as a peg sticking out of the overarm has to be driven out first and this often damages the overarm Now we've remanufactured the buffer but have done so in such a way that you do NOT have to remove the overarm peg. The new rubber-like buffer has internal cut-outs that allow you to squeeze it past the peg and into position Package includes:1 x white overarm buffer note : the UA14 deck was fitted to many record players and radiograms including Pye, HMV, Dansette, Hacker etc
