The interwebs suggest that the "Brooks English" variant of Brooks Brother's shoes are made by Church's English Shoes (Northampton). If not Church's, then Alfred Sargent or Crocket and Jones. Nice company to be among. The condition of these lovely Derby shoes is good: the leather has no cracks, no nicks and no scratches of note. No thread pulls, and no odor. No damage to the heel box. The rubber soles show some wear, mainly a crease or crack in the expected location (ball of foot, left). All in all, a nice looking hunk of handmade English shoe leather. The reddish hue to the brown leather makes these shoes "pop" when paired with darker muted pants. Lovely leather. Enjoy
