Have lived in Duluth MN and experienced 70 to 100 below wind chills so I feel I know something about cold weather clothings, esp since as a student I did not have a car so got to walk a mile to school...These jackets will keep you very warm, simply put snorkels work, flat out if your head is warm it is easier to keep everything else warm, used to wear four hats and even added a hand warmer between hat 1 and 2 to keep warm and still (can't move or fidget) bow hunting at sub zero temps. These jackers are long, ski jackets and a wading duck jacket are great for their purpose, but for cold weather always get a get a long jacket.
