Description: This Prayer Before Battle, number 20 from Hummel has the rare US ZONE mark. It's unclear to me if US ZONE indicates TMK-1 (the earliest Hummels) or TMK-2 (the second "editions"). I've seen information that is conflicting, and I'm no expert. Of course, US Zone means that it was made in the US Zone of post war Germany, when it was divided up into several zones by occupier, not just the East / West that we think of today. One ear is broken on the horse. It appears to be a clean break; I believe you could just glue it back together. Look at the photos close to see for yourself. This is an heirloom from my wife's parents and their time traveling for work, but unfortunately we need to downsize, so we've decided to part with a few collectables.
