Description: Repro poster produced for British Railways Buxton The Derbyshire Spa of Blue Waters by Kenneth Steel, 1950 A native of Sheffield, Kenneth Steel suffered a terrible tragedy during WW II when Nazi bombs destroyed his family home in the Sheffield Blitz. His mother and his wife were both killed. Steel was a prolific poster artist for the railways. Here he renders the Pavilion Gardens in the spa town of Buxton, Derbyshire. A smart picture in an A4 (30 x 21 cm., 11.7 x 8.3 inch) size frame. Traditional style frame with a black border. It can be used free standing or hung on a wall.
