Description: When air flight was still elegant… This listing offers a Set of TWO bowls in the first design introduced on the legendary Concorde in 1977. This vintage British Airways tableware pattern was designed by Malcolm Keen for Royal Doulton for use on the Concorde (until 1983). These excellent condition dishes / bowls are white bone china. The pattern features repeating stylized droop-nose Concordes in gold / mustard yellow within a royal blue band. Each is marked on underside: Made in England Royal Doulton England English Fine Bone China British Airways One is marked EC 1022, the other UCCH 8000. These are the versatile dish size used as a fruit or soup bowl. Each measures 10.5 cm diameter by 4.5 cm high (~ 4 1/8” diameter by 1 3/4” high). Rare, very collectible pieces in excellent condition! Free of chips, cracks or stains!
