Housed in the publisher's decorative papercovered wooden box (11½" x 11½" x 8½") with some superficial wear, sound and square, very good or better. Prepared under the supervision of the editors of the Encyclopaedia Britannica. Laid in is the work of young scholar Charles Norton, six drawings and two short essays ("Bird Conservation," and "History of American Music," the latter written for Troop #41).
