Description: (Non-hatching) Brine Shrimp Eggs 2 oz package. 🌟We launch a buy-more-get-more discount program Buy 2 get 1, buy 4 get 2, buy 6 get 3, buy 8 get 4, keep repeating......🌟 Great feed for angelfish, goldfish and guppies! Also accepted by corydoras and plecostami. Shelled or "shellless" non-hatched brine shrimp eggs (also known as "naked") are fed directly to a wide variety of baby tropical fish - nutritional value, often providing a delicious nutritional time. The outer shell, the chorion, has been chemically removed or oxidized with concentrated chlorine solutions. This process leaves the thin hatching membrane around unhatched brine shrimp embryos intact. Theoretically, shelled brine shrimp eggs have higher energy values than live brine shrimp because the energy expended during hatching is conserved. Lipids and amino acids remain intact. Simply rehydrate the shelled brine shrimp eggs in fresh water for a few minutes and feed directly to your fry or juveniles (this step is usually not required for adult fish.). Note: A small amount of shelled eggs goes a long way. Do not overfeed. Again, these are unhatched brine shrimp eggs. The oxidation process is exothermic and produces excess heat to the lethal temperature of the embryo. Further dehydration of the egg to maintain its shelf life renders the egg unviable.
