The Table of Contents pages for both books are included in the attached photos. These are the Book Club editions. The first printing of these editions with gutter code of I10 printed on the final pages of both volumes indicating a print date of March 1978. Print code of 2456 on the bottom edge of the back flaps of both volumes also indicate the first printing of the Club editions. Available only as a set from the Sci-Fi Book Club at the time. Volume 1 - 305 pages, Volume 2 - 279 pages, both volumes are 5-3/4" X 8-1/2". Iconic jacket cover art by Karel Thole. The jackets have been protected by clear, removable covers. Both jackets have some rubbing wear at the tips of the top corners. Volume Two has a small chip at the head of the spine panel, about 1/4" triangle chip. Sturdy hardcover boards are flat. The top right corner of Volume 2 is just slightly bumped. No former ownership marks, no writing on the text pages. Edges of the text block are clean. Not library discard copies. Bindings are tight and square. Attached photos are of the copies we have in our inventory. To be mailed out in a box!
