Description: Breyer Glossy Charcoal Lonesome Glory Breyerfest Volunteer Model 2003 Very Rare. I bought this model way back in 2003 or 2004, and it’s been in a China cabinet behind glass ever since! I used to be quite active in the hobby, but this model was never shown and was only displayed. I can’t say it flawless, as no Breyer is flawless, but it’s a beautiful example of an extremely rare model. Only around 70 of these were produced and given to Breyerfest volunteers. There are no eartip rubs, and the markings are crisp. As you can see in the overhead of the tail, there’s a little uneven edge on the tail head. There are also some fine scuffs in the left side in the gloss, which I tried to show. They aren’t visible unless you hold it in certain ways in the light, and certainly aren’t affecting the paint layer. Any white marks in the charcoal are reflections in the high gloss. I’ve tried to show as many angles as eBay will allow, please message with any specific questions, and I will try to accommodate addition pics as necessary. Again, no Breyer is flawless, but this is a gorgeous example of a piece that rarely becomes available for sale, and I’ve tried to be very picky with the description.
