I have for sale this super nice, super sized, and in very good overall condition, and very very hard to find, 1905-1925 arts and crafts Bradley and Hubbard tropical overlay lamp. This is not a common lamp by any stretch and i have only seen a couple in my 25 years of collecting and dealing. Onto the shade. The glass in this shade with nice and warm color, the filligree ( overlay ) all present and accounted for and all glass holding tabs present as well. No breaks or losses in the glass to be seen. As for the base, it is properly signed Bradley and Hubbard underneath the base plate and its in original patina and in fine working order. The base with a four socket cluster which makes sense because the shade is so large and wide. There is also no damage at all to the very heavy base meaning no dents or dings. The lamp measuring 29 inches tall and the shade 24 inches wide, so yes this is about as big as they get when it comes to a table lamp. So all in all, a super nice arts and crafts style lamp by one of the best makers there ever was and incredibly heavy and well built so you cant beat that.
