This system features an easy-to-read LCD display and is suitable for a wide range of operations such as interviews, ENG (electronic news gathering, EFP (electronic field productions), film production, business, and educational applications. The BY-WM8 Pro-K1 system easily mounts to DSLRs, camcorders, and video cameras and includes a detachable shoemount with locking knob and belt clips. Other features include: a wide switching RF bandwidth, PLL-synthesized tuning, digital companding circuitry, mic and line inputs, mute, and a headphone output for monitoring on the receiver. Furthermore, each transmitter and receiver is powered by two 1.5V AA batteries and offer more than 6-hours of continuous operation. The range of operation without obstacle is 300'. The power LED glows blue when the unit is on and glows red when the power is low.
