Description: This picture collage salutes that great Boston Patriot team that the AFL East Championship in 1963 but lost in the championship game to the San Diego Chargers. The team was led by such greats as Babe Parilli and John Cappaletti. The collage features copies of football cards from the era that depict 18 of the players. Unlike baseball cards, football cards sets were limited in terms of the number of players in each year's set. Therefore, to maximize the number of players in this collage, it was necessary to include card images from several years. Card images are 1 1/4" x 1 3/4" or about one fourth the size of a real card. This is a great collectible for any football fan. Please note that we can make up a similar collage for any team between 1955-1986. E-mail us for details. The size of this matted picture is 11" x 14" and will fit any 11" x 14" inch frame. (a standard size). Solid Oak frames are available for an additional $20 with no increase in shipping charges. As a history buff as well as a lover of old movies and all types of sports, the key to each picture is the research behind it. Deciding what movies should go with a particular star or what game or series would best reflect a certain sports hero is crucial to a successful collage.
