Description: Nice Bosozoku lot that includes 2 great books from people that were there. Included also a great DVD from Jaime Morris in a really moving and great documentary. I myself have delved into the Bosozoku model car culture. Thus in the photo section I am showing one of the Grachan models that I custom built as a sample of what can be done with some imagination and talent. This model was built on a Australian website dedicated to Japanese car culture. It was legendary as I was banned from the site after the build and apparently they shut down shortly thereafter. Although this model is NOT included in the sale, I am including in this listing a NOS unopened model car kit that YOU can build and customize like Bosozoku! I am American....... thus I used a rare 1982 IMSA Ford Mustang model kit that was not even designed or meant to be used in a Bosozoku build. But I used this kit as the foundation for a one of a kind build straight out of my imagination. Again this was a Bosozoku / Grachan, or what is called a "Grand Champion", style model. And what I built was a 9-11 tribute. Most people are unaware that a Japanese-American architect designed the WTC. This mans name was Minoru Yamasaki. If you look closely you can see in the photo where I painted his name on the exhaust extensions styled like the Twin Towers. Another interesting fact is that special cranes were used to build the World Trade Center Twin Towers. These cranes were from Australia and dubbed "Kangaroo Cranes" And, again, as coincidence would have it, I chronicled this entire model build on that Australian website dedicated to the Bosozoku culture. Step by step I showed photographs of exactly what I was doing until this models completion. And then one day I was banned without notice from the site. And apparently the entire site was blacked-out from my region of the USA. I was never able to log back on this site. So for all I know my build chronicle is still up there. But from what I understand this build eventually broke the site and they exist no longer. Anyway.... the extra bonus unopened model that I am also including for sale in this listing is a 2000 Pontiac. And you can buy Bosozoku extras, fender flares ect., ect.. for it from the Hobby Link Japan website or even here on eBay. So you can build your own and also own the legendary one that I built. In my opinion it is very therapeutic to build these models. So have fun and enjoy learning about this great culture and art form! Thanks for looking.
