This idea came about after experience piles of dust at my feet and in my face after routing even simple small pieces. The standard table top dust collecting system wasn't enough. After using this for over two years, I felt it's time to release it. Combined with the stock table top dust collection, this under-the-table dust chute will *significantly* reduce dust. Even running this alone reduces more dust than the table top dust collector. As a bonus, it will decrease wear and tear on the router itself as the dust is collected before it gets a chance to go into the intake and gum up the motor. This dust chute is attached to my Bosch 1617EVS router under my Bosch Benchtop Router Table (RA1181) which is attached to my Ridgid table saw (R4512). Although a standard garage vacuum will work, like all of woodworking, I highly recommend a high volume dust collector. These do a much better job and allows for better splitting of the dust collection forces should you run both this chute and the table top dust collector. This was designed SPECIFICALLY for my Bosch 1617EVS router. I can not guarantee that it will work on other "similar" Bosch brand of routers. The chute outlet is 2.5" OD. Available colors include black, translucent clear and translucent blue. Even though the filament start out as clear, once 3D printed, the final product takes on a more "frosty" appearance due to the nature of 3D printing (layers and refraction). **These are made to order. Please note that like all 3D printed products, there may be some minor surface blemishes, even though we print everything on high-end prosumer grade printers in a heated chamber and enclosure. It is the nature of the beast. Please understand this before purchasing. This does not affect functionality in any way.
