Description: Vintage Borghese Framed Art Print -- HARVARD COLLEGE, 1828 (Stoughton Hall, Hollis Hall, Harvard Hall, University Hall, Massachusetts Hall). Panted Wood Frame with wire cord hanger at back. Glass face. Approximate dimensions (of frame) is 13 1/4 inches (w) by 10 1/4 inches (h). Print is estimated to be about 12 inches (w) by 9 inches (h) 9 inches is appears to be well-fit in frame. Note: I have several of these of various Colleges and Universities. I have not been able to find too much on these but believe they may have been issued circa 1920's to 1940's. Statement along very bottom of one of the prints indicates these were "Published and Distributed by L.B. Fischer Company, New York City". From bottom of print:"Founded in 1636 - The oldest College in the United States - Established by grant of £400 by the general court of the Massachusetts Bay Colony - named in honor of John Harvard, the school's first benefactor, who bequeathed one-half of his estated to the college". Condition: USED / GOOD condition. Frame has some cosmetic wear/chipping etc. Glass is Good. Please review photos to further evaluate condition. Please ask questions before bidding/buying.
