Illuminated Manuscript on Vellum Condition: Very Good A manuscript leaf from a late 15th century illuminated Book of Hours, produced in France. The leaf is written in Latin, using a bastard script, with 6 illuminated initials against red and blue. This leaf is complimented with beautiful, illuminated borders with flowering tendrils. Nested within are two brightly illuminated birds. Two of the initials also have small flowering borders next to them. This leaf is written in an 18-line format. One illuminated manuscript on parchment, 14 x 9.5 cm This manuscript is in very good shape, with very little staining to the vellum. I typically ship within 1-2 business days of receiving payment.
