Illustrated with maps by Moxon; double-page map of the World, lacking 2" folds on either end, but right side shows California as an island in remnant of fold. Double page map of Paradise or Garden of Eden, complete. Map of Jerusalem, all whole with short, closed split at left edge fold. The New Testament with brief summaries by Theodore Beza, also printed 1715 with 2-page map of Canaan, by Joseph Moxon, complete. Lastly a map of Travels of St. Paul, and other apostles with geographical description of Holy Lands......this map by Moxon, strongly and sharply printed, complete with end folds protecting edges. As well as maps, there are illustrations. At end of book is found the whole Book of Psalms, also 1715. Heavy tome, 17 1/4" x 11" x 3 3/4" thick. When found, the covers were loose.......now reattached and spine restored in leather, retaining ribs. Hinges reinforced from within. Leather boards are original with blind-stamping, original brass medallions, filigreed corners and fabulous clasps. I'll let the camera do the talking. A wonderful old bible. Very Good condition.
