Description: Bicycle Wheel Warehouse is offering this NEW set of Bontrager 26" AT-850 disc wheels laced with Shimano TX-506 loose ball bearing cup + cone Quick Release 6-Bolt Disc Hubs. The Bontrager AT-850 26" disc 44 rim has a pinned joint with a 24mm outer and 18mm inner width designed for cross country (XC) racing or trail riding. These rims would like to be light weight, and the wheels will feel great and hold up to random wheelie throws and curb pops. The Shimano TX-506 6-bolt disc hubs are Quick Release, front = 9mm x 100mm, rear = 10mm x 135mm, and feature incredibly durable internal bearing design. As with Shimano MTB hubs, forget about having to worry whether or not these hubs are thru-axle compatible, or will work with Sram XD, (they don't and they won't). The rear hub will work with Shimano MTB series 8, 9, 10, or 11 speed cassettes. They are built up with Black 2.0mm = 14g Spokes and chrome plated brass Nipples. This auction is for the above listed wheel set and includes rim tape (installed) and Quick Release levers.These rims are NOT tubeless ready. But, if you want to get crazy and try to set them up tubeless to prove to the world that you're the tubeless setup hero, be our guest!
