Description: This is an ORIGINAL Bob Marley & The Wailers Exodus Island Records promotional shirt from the 70’s. Complete with Exodus album graphic typeface logo and Island Records logo on the sleeve. The graphic is printed, not a transfer or typical t-shirt printing that fades over time. The material appears to be either linen or hemp cloth. Acquired this recently from a collection of vintage shirts. Spoke with Bob Marley’s art director Neville Garrick before he passed and he confirmed this item. This is an original. NOT a recent reprint or a bootleg. This is the genuine article. This is a rare piece suitable for framing and display. It’s a small size and a little tricky getting into. If you’re a true fan/collector of BOB MARLEY and reggae artifacts, this is a worthy addition to your collection. There’s a mild little stain on the shirt. Source unknown. For a shirt from the year 1977, it looks almost immaculate. I would suggest dry cleaning this item if you decide to give it a wash.
