He was nicknamed 'BULLET BOB HAYES' because of his blinding speed. He joined the Dallas Cowboys after the Olympics and became the only man to win a Gold Medal and a Super Bowl. He was selected as a NFL HALL OF FAMER in the Class of 2009. Hayes was a Super Bowl Champ, 2x All-Pro, 3x Pro Bowl selection, 2x NFL Touchdown leader and is a member of the Cowboys famed Ring of Honor. BOB HAYES DIED IN 2002 OF KIDNEY FAILURE AFTER BATTLING PROSTATE CANCER AND LIVER AILMENTS! This signed item is unique. This signature was obtained at Fort Clayton in 1971 in the Panama Canal Zone. It was signed in blue ink pen and has been in a private collection since the early 1980's. IT IS INSCRIBED 'BEST WISHES' BUT NOT PERSONALIZED! Both sides of the 2.5" x 3.5" inch rectangular note paper are pictured. The front side is autographed in blue ink and has the details identifying the signer are in an unknown handwriting on a separate piece of paper underneath. The reverse is pictured as well. It will be shipped carefully and flat via First Class Mail. This genuine Autograph comes from a friend who closed up her late- husband's Podiatry office and now she has a huge collection of books, foot-care products, celebrity autographs, an Elvis collection, and a coin collection in the garage of her home.
