The Gel Pro™ Position Plus™ Gel & Foam Wheelchair Position Cushion provides the most advanced pressure redistribution, therapeutic support and positioning available. The Gel Pro™Position Plus™ Gel Position Cushion allows therapists to offer correct posture, proper spinal alignment, trunk stability and all the pressure redistribution characteristics required for a seating application. All cover materials are anti-microbial and meet California Technical Bulletin #117 for fire retardancy. An optional solid seat insert is available.The front abduction wedge maintains proper midline alignment and reduces internal rotation of the hips in addition to preventing sliding and shearing forces. Cover: The Vyvex III™ top cover is a low shear, four-way stretch urethane, which is fluid and stain proof. The bottom cover is a non-skid tri-laminate vinyl. The cushion’s top layer is Viscotec™, a heat activated visco elastic memory foam which surrounds and supports the bony prominences while redistributing pressure. Core:Top: Viscotec™ Memory Foam Center:VPF™ High Density Foam Ultra-Soft Viscous Gel BladderBase: Medflex™ VPF™ High Density Foam. This Cushion Supports up to 250lbs and is a very comfortable. The Easy Clip Secure Strap is an option on these cushions that we find to be very popular and a favorite. It allows the cushion to be secured to a wheelchair or chair to keep it in place. It straps from the sides of the cushion underneath whatever seat or wheelchair it is placed in. The Incontinence Liner is an extra option available that is helpful in protecting the inside layers of the cushion from fluid intrusion.
