Sprayed speckled text block edges. Pages have mild tanning and moderate foxing throughout. Pencil inscription to front pastedown and endpaper. Heavy foxing to front endpapers. Moderate tanning and foxing to text block edges. Boards have heavy shelf-wear with bumping to corners, crushing to spine ends and rub wear all over. Notable scuffing to boards and edges. Moderate peeling and cracking to spine. Gilt lettering is bright and clear but has some chipping. Head of spine has a lot of wear and some tearing. This book has been inspected carefully by hand by trained book valuers to ensure the condition description is as accurate as possible for this exact copy pictured.
