Description: This is a beautiful, black walnut live edge slab. It displays multiple designs in the wood that only Mother Nature can create. Nice contrast of light to dark wood. Many growth lines visible. It is kiln dried to furniture grade moisture content and planed on our helical head planer, there is an area that is still slightly rough which can be seen in photos, at top area of slab… Upon request more planing can be done, But it will decrease the thickness. This piece is considered project ready and will need sanding and finish work to be a gorgeous finished slab. There will be minimal movement in the grain or drying period to wait for, once you receive the slab it is 100% ready. It was lightly sprayed with rubbing alcohol to bring out the character to see easily. This is just a great overall slab. It does have partial Bark...not guaranteed due to shipping. Please examine the photos closely to make sure this is the right piece for your project…there is a pencil line marking that can easily be removed…seen in photos.
