Description: Nicely figured Black Limba (terminalia superba) thick neck blank perfect for electric guitar set neck with an angled headstock. Please check my store for matching laminate top body blank from the same board. Surfaced all four sides. Sanded to 80g both faces. Photographed outdoors in daylight. Grain is riftsawn running about 50-60 degrees to the faces. Photos in order are closeup, front, back and endgrain. This blank is medium weight for Black Limba with consistent dark figure through both sides. *Note there are bug holes!* Length 31-1/4" Width: 3-5/16" Thickness: 1.85" Weight: 3 lbs 7 oz (2.6lb/ft) Defects: numerous bug holes common for this species. These can be filled easily if they do not fall outside template. Dimension tolerance : 1/16" for length and width; .+/-.010" for thickness Sanding service: I can sand to any thickness you like +/-.005" at no additional charge but this will add a day handling time.
