To disassemble for a through cleaning, firmly grasp the filter assembly tab with one hand and mesh filter frame with the other. Turn the tab to the left (counterclockwise) to unlock from the mesh filter frame. To re-assemble the filter, insert the pleated filter into the mesh filter frame. While firmly holding the mesh filter frame, turn the tab to the right (clockwise) to clock the pieces together.
