Description: Claycraft Potteries, Los Angeles, CA 1921-1939 This odd-shaped tile is still in the bisque (unglazed) stage. Has an interesting geometric pattern. We were told by an informed customer that this is a salesman's sample of a fireplace hearth. Most likely the salesman for the company had a sales kit to show potential clients fireplace and hearth designs. Measures 7" long x 3 1/2" at the widest x 1/2" thick. In very good condition.
