Description: This is for a lovely set of 3 porcelain coffee cups with paintings of Chickadees by artist Sheila Brown. One side of the cup shows 2 chickadees, and the other side has one chickadee and they are perched among pussy willows!The cups were made in Japan by Otagiri. There is a fine line of gold around the top edge. They are 4 inches tall and somewhat narrow to keep your hot beverage, hot. The diameter of the top of the cup is 2 & 3/4 inches, and they hold 8 ounces. They would make a perfect gift for a bird lover in your life (or yourself!) I know chickadees are one of my favorite birds to see at my bird feeder here in North Carolina. I see no chips, crack, stains or crazing. Very pretty. There is a bit of wear to the gold on the rim, and one of the cups had a squiggle of gold paint left behind near the top of the cup, that can be seen in picture # 18. Please zoom in on the pictures and see the 360 degree view for a closer look. I pack with lots of bubble wrap for safe shipping and ship out quickly, sometimes same day, always by next business day, and sometime on Saturday if I can get to the post office before it closes at noon.
