Description: Offered for sale is a beautiful porcelain collector plate made by Bing & Grøndahl of Denmark. It is a Christmas (Jul) plate from 1983, and shows birds perched beside a show covered street lamp. It has a green stamped backmark with the stylized B&G castle emblem, encircled by the words COPENHAGEN PORCELAIN MADE IN DENMARK in block capitals, and Jul i den gamle by and Christmas in the old Town in script letters. It is also marked with the item number 9083 (picture 4). It measures 7 1/4 inches (18.4cm) in diameter. A U.S. quarter is included in the second picture, to give an accurate impression of the size at a glance. A beautiful collector plate for your collection! Plate comes complete with its original box, packaging, and leaflets (first picture). There are no chips, cracks or scratches, and no discoloration or crazing of the glaze. No damage at all. There are two holes at the back for hanging. All my items are from a SMOKE FREE home.
