Bill Terry was one of the best first baseman in the NL in the 20th century. He hit .401 in 1930 and was the last NL player to hit .400. He finished with a career average of .341, second only to Rogers Hornsby in NL history. As the Giants manager, he won 3 NL pennants and one World Series.
