While the grey band was arguably the most flexible stretchy version, the size tag remained engineered for the traditional vintage tight fit - the 2XL was generally worn up to 44-46" I wear a US jeans size 34. I measure closer to a true 38. If you have never measured your waist you should - US clothing manufacturers lie to us. In sports my go to size was always the XL and 2XL with my current waist. So, Id suggest this be fore 34-44. Notice the photo with the measuring tape....and decide for yourself. This is a personal item. Therefore returns are not accepted. I have these listed in White and Black. As I clear out some gear for sale, this is perhaps the best value priced item in my collection. They are no longer made.
