Description: It's big and it's old, and it's just "as found" in a Maine auction this summer -- not in the best shape, so priced accordingly. The cover was silk velvet. It was tacked onto the hoof, and then a braided trim with metallic threads was tacked with upholstery tacks around its edge. You can see the under-cover of linen where the velvet has worn off. The basic form is still in good condition, so if you're interested in some doing some restoration here, this hoof's for you! SIZE: about 7" long and 5" high WEIGHS: 1 lb.
