Description: Up for sale in this listing is the rare, wonderful poster from the early days of home video, promoting the release of “the boys” classic films on VHS. The poster is a traditional one-sheet size (27” x 40”) and features some classic stills of Messrs. Howard, Fine and Howard from seven of their finest and most popular shorts (“Healthy, Wealthy and Dumb” (1938), “A Bird in the Head” (1946), Dizzy Pilots” (1943), “Three Sappy People” (1939), “Tassels in the Air” (1938), “Oily to Bed, Oily to Rise” (1938) and “Back from the Front” (1943), atop a scene from “We Want Our Mummy” (1939). Overall, the poster is in quite nice condition, especially considering that it’s nearly 40 years old. However, along the border there are some small blemishes, including what appear to be very small tack holes in the corners, a little rumpling/fraying along the right outer border, and a small missing piece of the border in the lower, right corner. (See photos for details.) As these blemishes are all in the border area, they do not affect the main image, and will likely be hidden by framing and/or matting.
