Description: This is BG-61 Type 2, an original printing of the 61st poster in the Bill Graham series, by Wes Wilson. It was printed in 1967, before the concert, and is in NM condition. This item was only printed once, but with two distinct colors: first chartreuse, then yellow. This one was printed after yellow was added, but there is still a little chartreuse in the mix, so it is not as yellow as the ones printed last. Wes Wilson was now a famous poster artist, but Bill Graham was still paying him the same rate per poster that he had started with. And it had become clear that the posters were going to have value in the future, as collectibles, and that Bill Graham would be earning all this money. So Wilson wanted a bigger piece off the action.But Bill Graham was unwilling to consider changing anything. So Wilson decided to quit, and in his next poster, which would be his last for Bill Graham until December 1968, he would make his unhappiness explicit.
