Description: Beswick Pottery England Shire Foal Horse Figurine 5" Long Shape 1053 Vintage Description and Item Information Up for sale is this vintage Beswick Shire foal horse figurine or sculpture. Please excuse any glare in the photos. This item is approximately 5 inches long, 4 7/8 inches tall, and 1 1/2 inches wide. The horse is brown, white, and black. Unpacked, it weighs 5.3 ounces. This would be a good addition to a collection of Beswick animal figurines. Identification This piece is marked beneath, as shown, with an ink-stamped marking, "BESWICK, ENGLAND." There is a small, black decorator mark beneath, as well. It retains its original oval BESWICK sticker. The exact age of this vintage figurine is not known. Condition The horse looks great overall, with no chips or cracks. There are light wear marks to the unglazed bottom. The sticker has light wear.
