Description: This beautiful antique copper jug is marked on the base with Benham and Froud orb and cross and 4 QT. The handle is tightly attached with copper rivets, one on the bottom and 2 on top. A dovetailed seam runs down the side under the handle. It has been restored with a new tin plate. It is water tight, no leaks. It measures 8" across the base. It is about 9 1/2" tall. The bottom is 8". It weighs 3.9 lbs. On the side it is marked with the initials W.N. It has some little dents and the iron on the lip has corroded some. This is pretty unnoticeable.
