Description: On offer, we have an original lithograph by California artist Ben Messick (1891-1981). "Young Girl In A Window" is signed in the print on the right edge, above that it is also signed in pencil "Ben Messick VHM". The child is in shadow with an empty flower pot and a sketched city behind her. On white paper, this measures 11 1/4" X 12 1/4" with the print 9 7/8" X 9 3/4". I believe this is in excellent condition. The drawing is bold, clean and clear. The back has tape at the top from when this was once in a matte. It has been handled and has some very light wrinkles, but no creases. As I am not an expert on art, please see my photographs for more description. This is from my friend who is moving to a much smaller home and parting with many of his treasures. I will be happy to answer any questions and, of course, combine your shipping.
