Description: BELL HOWELL 992 SLIDE CUBE AUTO FOCUS PROJECTOR WORKS BUT HAS ISSUESThe pin that the latch connects to to hold the top down is broken off (last picture with arrow) It causes the top part that holds the slide cube to not always allign properly when closed. The top stays down by gravity, but the pin helps it line up. It also can sometimes make it difficult to eject slides back into the cube. I just used it in this condition to view 2,000 slides to select for digitizing, The main problem sometimes happened when reversing to be able to remove a single slide. Also when putting slides back in the cube, it sometimes required extra effort to get them pushed in. Many of my slides were warped which may have aggravated the problem. I was able to show some cubes of 40 without one problem, but did not reverse during those. I suggest this for someone who wants to show slides once to pick for digitizing or who has the knowledge to fix it. Sold As Is. Shipping calculated by UPS but may ship FedEx.
