Author Biography David Roas is Associate Professor of Literary Theory and Comparative Literature at the Universitat Autónoma de Barcelona, Spain, where he directs the Grupo de Estudios sobre lo Fantástico (GEF; Research Group on the Fantastic) and Brumal.
